 At the Swiss Ball 2010, the Swiss Society of New York continues with its third annual Silent Auction. The new format allows us to better showcase the outstanding products and services of our valued contributors and sponsors.
The Silent Auction is our only means to support to the Swiss Society Prize. This Prize means a lot to the Swiss community, and our contributors are crucial to its success.
Each year the Swiss Society Prize goes to a person in the professional field of study of the Guest of Honor. The purpose of the grant program is to foster the professional development of Swiss expatriates or persons with proven Swiss roots of exceptional talent and quality in their field. The program offers financial support towards continuing education or special projects that will further the professional development of such established or emerging professionals.
Remaining proceeds of the Silent Auction allows the Swiss Society to support a broad range of Swiss cultural activities in the greater New York area.
